Finished A level horror trailer:
We looked at a range of past A2 trailers, and chose one to cut down and improve into a teaser trailer. Cutting out clips we deemed unnecessary, making it around one minute long.
Previously I have done research on teaser trailers, and found that common features include adding mystery, therefore not showing footage that gives the events away and being very short, to 'tease' the audience and create suspense. During this practical we tried to channel this and used our previous research to our advantage.

Here I was deleting more footage that was not needed.

I used the blade tool to cut up each section individually so we could easily work well with the footage, move it around and delete the excess.

Within this production there were many elongated scenes of the couple walking, seemingly to be unnecessary, therefore I decided to remove these.

Our re edit:
Conclusion:
- Overall I believe that our re edit did look more appropriate, since unnecessary scenes were removed and the trailer as a whole was cut down leaving the good and effective shots behind.
- Although this is the case some aspects of our reedit did not flow well. We moved some scenes around and had them flash in on screen, however at times this seemed to look out of place.
- As well as this we also let some scenes drag onto long, if done again we would cut it down further and ensure it flows to a better standard.
