The films 'House of 1000 corpses' was released in 2003, and is a slasher/horror. The basic plot is 'An empty fuel tank and a flat tire lead two couples down a terror-riddled road to the House of 1000 Corpses.'

Another explanation is, 'House of 1000 Corpses is at its core a story of family - a cast of twisted individuals who, with each slash of a throat or stab thru the chest, add bodies to their sick human menagerie.'

Within this film there is a character who goes by the named 'Sid Haig'. He has appeared in numerous other horror movies such as, Rob Zombies 'The devils rejects'(2005) Vikram Bhatt Creature (2011). Within 'House of 1000 corpses' and 'The devils rejects', Haig plays the character of an evil, sadistic clown. Making him appropriate to play the killer/villain within our movie. Since he plays the role very realistically adding to the naturalistic feel we are attempting to portray.


Well known horror actors such as Anthony Hopkins, would also be well fitted. Due to him playing Hannibal in the Hannibal Lector series he is well suited to portraying a character of this genre as well as playing out sinister events realistically and making it very believable to the audience.  

He is well known for his roles in 'The silence of the lambs (1991), Hannibal (2001), Red Dragon (2002), The Rite (2011), Solace (2015) and many, many more.


 


To subert from common conventions of killers and villains within horror movies a female could also be cast. Sheri Moon Zombie, Rob Zombies wife. Has appeared in many of his dark, twisted movies, therefore being a good person to play an evil, sadistic killer. She played a very manipulative and nasty character within 'The Devils Rejects'. Making her very appropriate and well fitted for our genre and idea.


Below is a You tube clip, showing her playing the character of 'Baby' in which she torments and plays with her victims, seeming to get joy out of their pain and despair.

Conclusion:

• In conclusion in our piece we need to ensure the person portraying the killer does it well and realistically.
• Taking inspiration from these people, acting in a very sinister sadistic manor.
