Red room poster:
This is our finished poster:
My input:
For our poster I took the image of the young girl (the victim). We deemed this to be an important part of the poster as it would be one of the main focuses so we had to ensure it was done in the correct lighting, environment and position/facial expression. We also had to ensure it was took in a similar way to the one that had been taken of me in the killers costume by a group member. I ensured it was lined up and played around with the lighting until I deemed it appropriate. Below is the image I have taken before manipulated and edited for our poster.

For the billings block I did prior research to ensure that I did it correctly and in the most professional manor. I found a template online instructing me on the right presentation and wrote out the different names and credits e.g. producer, music by, directed by and so on. At first the billings block was to bold and stood out too much, so I lowered the opacity down to around 50% to ensure it fit well and did not draw too much attention

Once I had removed the background I then used the stroke layer style to boarder the edges in black to make it easier to remove the inner blue of the logo, and then rasterized that layer. Therefore just being left with the outer layer. After this was done. I used the paint brush to add a circular mark on the bird this was to give the illusion of a glowing background for when I added the glowing rim to the bird, therefore acting as a reflection. To make this occur I used the soft light blend mode on the layer and then dimmed the opacity.
After this was completed I then went on to the typography for the links to the social media sites. Before doing the actual typography I did a quick practise, which shows the step by step method a lot easier.

I then added the white layer on top and rasterized it. After this was completed I went on to select filter, blur and then blur motion to get the desired effect. I moved the distance to around two pixels and then zoomed in and moved the red layer to the right and the green to the left. After this I then made all of the layers visible to see the final product.
