Typography

Typography:

Individually we had to experiment on Photoshop to try and create a title that would be suitable for the genre of film we are doing as a group.

Firstly I entered text that was within a text box, I did this by selecting a font and typing the title that I wanted.

Next I moved the location of the text so that it was further down the page, I also added a blue background to try and help with the theme of the deep web.

Here this shows me investigating with the location of the text so if it was further back and had a 3D look and if it was slanted and to the side.

These images above show how I created a colour fade on the background and they also show how I made it so the text could be two different colours and merge/blend these together. I chose green and black because I thought they worked well as a colour for a deep web film title, I used black as the main colour background for the text and blended in some green to help with the effect.

Personally I think I would need more time to develop my skills within photoshop as I didn't know much about it when I started, this image above is my final title that I made and I think I have been able to manipulate and change the text from the way it first started as normal black writing. However I do think there was a lot more things I could've done and tried on photoshop to make it more suitable for the genre and use more effect on it. If I was able to develop my skills in photoshop that is what I would do.
