 Their answers to our questions:

1. Have you heard of the dark web? and do you believe that it is relevant to modern day society?

• Some had heard of it through friends previously.
• Believe it is relevant due to communications through dark web, terrorists etc.
• It is relevant due to drug trafficking, more accessibility to drugs/ crime

    2. Are you interested? why/why not?

• They were interested due to there not being many horror movies surrounding it.
• Hard to access, therefore more interesting
• secretiveness of it makes it more interesting

     3. Any relevant films?

• Unfriended and Friend request, about Skype and Facebook
• They believed that the only films out there surrounding the internet or cybercrime are not very accurate or well done.
• They believe that a trailer on dark web that tackles more socially relevant issues are better

   4. Have you heard about it in the news? if not should it be talked about more?

• Never heard only through word of friend.
• Takes up a large portion of internet, so feel it should be talked about more.
• Very secretive and hidden so not that heard about.
• Talked about more, hopefully introduce more laws and help to stop cyber crime making it harder to access.

    5. Four main topics, red rooms, hit men, paedophile circles, drugs. Which is the most interesting?

• Red rooms interesting, not heard about not really done before. Therefore a film on it would be very interesting, although hard to watch.
• Helps create awareness.
• Also helps add in psychological aspect.

   6. What type of sounds? Natural noises or soundtrack? Any films that are good inspiration?

• Natural noises, more realistic creepier.
• Decided a mic would be more effective.
• Low soundtrack with a lot of natural to add to the realism and create a more suspenseful atmosphere.
• Loud typing said to be creepy.
• Girl on train, Kanye soundtrack said to be good.

From the focus group we were able to gather a clearer and more accurate feel to what the audience would find the most interesting and whether or not our idea was deemed relevant.

We found out that they believed the deep web was not talked about often enough, and since it takes up such a large portion of the internet it should be. They also found the aspect of cyber crime very interesting, and how it is easy to get away with and believed that with further understanding and knowledge we could work to help lessen this.

Through this were also able to come up with our final idea of 'Red rooms', since they thought it to be the most interesting, as well as the use of many dominant diegetic noises within the trailer to add to the realism and make it more tense.
