We started our questionnaire with simple questions like whether people should be aware of the deep web and most people said that yes people should be aware of the dangers of the deep web however 16 percent of the responders said they were unaware themselves what the deep web even was. Overall we received 78 responses that we could analyse.

We decided that we should try and find out whether there was interest from our respondents within the theme of criminality in a deep web film. This was another basic question so that we could just find out whether it was interesting and relevant to date.

This third question is just another basic question to whether the audience think that the deep web and cyber crime is relevant to do a film on and if it is relevant within society at this particular crime. The responses that we received show that the genre and idea we have chosen is relevant within current society which is always useful and helpful within a film.

This question we had to try and work out from our target audience what they thought would be an appropriate genre based within the idea of web and cybercrime. The responses that we got from the audience that answered our questionnaire show that they thing a psychological horror element would be appropriate and work with cyber crime.

As we are planning our film trailer at the moment we felt a suitable question to ask would be where is the most appropriate location to set our trailer. The responses show that the majority of our respondents would feel it would be most effective if it is set within a house, however there was 29% of people who felt that an abandoned location would be appropriate. There a few respondents who specified other and suggested other locations which were; cityscapes, a data centre, a large international company with global influence, somewhere where it starts in a London IT firm then gets sinister, a sci-fi location and the final one was a mix of all our options. As a group we looked through the responses in the other category and decided that none of them where particularly suitable and these could be answers from another age range that wasn't our target audience for this film trailer.

We felt that as a group we needed to identify what use of props would be most effective upon the audience. So we asked them this question about whether they thought using a mask for anonymity would be appropriate and 80.52% of responders felt this would be appropriate which as a group we agree with for our particular genre.

In our trailer we needed to obtain whether we used a soundtrack to help build tension or whether the audience felt it would be better to have no sound for a sense of realism to build tension alone. 65% which was the majority of responders said they felt that a soundtrack would be better to build tension rather than no tension. As a group we also felt it would be suitable to have sounds to help build tension as we had previously spoken about this.

As a group we needed to know what themes to put into our trailer and religious themes can work well with this genre so we asked if they thought it would be appropriate however over half of the responses said that they wouldn't find it appropriate.

The next thing we needed to find out as a group was the point of view to show the trailer from o either the victim in the trailer or the villains point of view. 62% of respondents to our survey felt that it would be more interesting if it came from both points of views so mix it together.

Before making our film trailer we need to know what area of the deep web to base our film upon. Therefore in the last question of our survey we asked what areas they found most interesting. A lot of our areas had very close answers, the ones that people found most interesting are; red rooms (livestreams), hacking, hitman services, and conspiracy theories. Therefore as a group we will try and base our film trailer on these most popular ones.
